A Winter Fairytale Wedding in Auburn Hills, MI
With a palette of dusky blues and berry reds, Jon and Magic created a beautifully chilly winter wonderland wedding in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Not a single detail was overlooked in this charming couple’s romantic, vintage-inspired vision for their special day.
Magic was exquisite from head to toe in a delicate lace gown that looked like it came straight out of a fairytale, plus a fabulous fur coat to stay warm and a bouquet of eucalyptus, roses, and dazzling black anemones. Jon was suave and dashing in a midnight blue suit with a silvery blue tie and a single white rose tucked into his lapel.
The piles of glittering white snow outside might have been cold, but NOAH’S created a pocket of warmth around the happy ceremony. Under a rustic wooden arbor on the snow-glistening back patio, Magic and Jon said “I Do” surrounded by their friends and family (and a couple outdoor heaters to boot).
The newlyweds chose to decorate NOAH’S gorgeous ballroom with Edison bulbs suspended from the ceiling to set a warm, cozy tone for the post-ceremony soiree, which Magic and Jon played up with arrangements of dense woodland greenery and soft, folksy dancing music. Instead of cake, cookies, or other typical wedding desserts, Jon and Magic served sweet, creamy, rustic pies to amplify the intimate Scandinavian mood.
A wedding wouldn’t be a wedding without speeches and dancing, and the couple’s friends and family members made sure to celebrate Jon and Magic through kind words of love and ridiculous moves on the dance floor. When it’s cold outside, Jon and Magic’s guests know that dancing was the best way to stay warm!
“Jon and Magic deserved to have a perfect day,” said one of their guests, “and they truly did get to have a perfect day at NOAH’S.”
Congratulations, Magic and Jon!
