A Chic Black-and-White Wedding at NOAH’S in Southpointe, PA
No matter the event, NOAH’S Event Venue comes with natural, built-in elegance: palatial ballroom-style spaces, sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows, lush professional landscaping, and modern design features straight out of all the wedding magazines you’ve been poring over. That said, some couples bring an extra special flair and cachet to NOAH’S, and Chelsea and Zachary are certainly one of those couples. Equipped with a sophisticated color palette of sleek neutrals and truckloads of soft eucalyptus branches, these two adorable dog lovers enchanted NOAH’S with charm, style, and endless elegance.
The finesse of this wedding began with Chelsea and Zachary’s fashionable wedding attire. Chelsea was a stunner in strappy white gown with a deep, sultry V-cut and a modern lacy back. She glammed up her look with a cool white manicure, a smoky dark lash line, and soft romantic curls. Her bridesmaids dressed up in glossy pitch-black dresses and together with Chelsea, they brandished modish bouquets of sweet-smelling silver-dollar eucalyptus, heady white roses, and unique blue thistle.
Zachary and his groomsmen were dapper and polished in classic black tuxedoes and gleaming patent leather wingtips. Handsome in his bow tie and cufflinks, the groom personalized his wedding look with a flashy polka-dotted pocket square and a pair of hip geometric eyeglasses. We have to mention Zachary’s gift to his groomsmen: chic whiskey tumblers engraved with their names and the wedding date, and Zachary and the boys couldn’t help but have a little drink together before the main event!
We couldn’t have dreamed up a more beautiful ceremony for Chelsea and Zachary. Under a sweet eucalyptus-wrapped arbor and the late-summer sun, the lovebirds said their I Do’s on our stone garden patio. The couple chose to host an “unplugged ceremony,” meaning that cameras, phones, and other electronics were put away so that everyone could be present in the moment.
We’re in the love with the typography and signage the couple chose for their wedding. Using simple sans-serif fonts and clean black-on-white lines, Zachary and Chelsea created a sleek, unpretentious landscape for their nuanced style. From the cool, chalky dinner menus to the austere invitations to the minimalist seating charts, every printed detail was cohesive and on-point. The finishing touch was the fine, uncomplicated bunches of eucalyptus that ornamented the signs and tables in graceful, uncomplicated tableaus.
After the ceremony, the wedding banquet and reception was in full swing in the Main Hall. At the front of the room, the head table flaunted a pretty golden placard featuring the couple’s new joint last name in looping cursive. Guest tables were decorated with white pillar candles, bunches of fragrant eucalyptus, and contemporary slate gray dinner menus, all atop crisp white linens and black napkins. The best part? The doggy-themed table markers, featuring a different pup on each table.
Finally, our favorite detail at this wedding packed with beautiful details had to be the cake. This impeccably iced buttercream dessert was wreathed in delicate eucalyptus leaves and capped with the cutest custom topper that we’ve ever seen. As the silhouette of Zachary and Chelsea smooched in the corner of the topper, their canine friend looked on lovingly. Perfectly one-of-a-kind and perfectly adorable!
Every ball must come to an end, and after the dancing and the toasts the end of this magical evening was bittersweet. Chelsea and Zachary exited NOAH’S to a rush of sparklers and cheers as they blew kisses and waved to their adoring crowd. We’re honored that we got to share this elegant celebration with this precious couple. Congrats, Zachary and Chelsea!
