A Classy, Romantic Wedding at NOAH’S in Wichita, KS
Blair and Easton are a charming young couple with a unique personal style, and they wanted to throw a wedding that matched their fun-loving spirit, modern taste, and youthful sophistication. The pair chose NOAH’S Event Venue in Wichita, Kansas to pull off the wedding of their dreams, complete with a sweeping fairytale ballroom, dramatic decor details such as crystal chandeliers and marble tabletops, and elegant backyard patio for a charming and laid-back outdoor ceremony. Let’s take a look at the fabulous way Blair and Easton personalized NOAH’S for their stylish summer wedding day.
Blair was the star of the show in her striking, form-fitted gown with mod X-crossed straps, intricate lacework, and a gorgeous, romantic trumpet skirt. Her dark hair was curled and swept back with a crystal-encrusted hairpiece, which matched her sparkling diamond bracelet and dangly earrings. Her final touches were silver heels, a dark lash line, and an overflowing bouquet brimming with long tendrils of eucalyptus and olive and studded with magenta, white, and purple roses.
With a sharp haircut and a perfectly tailored tuxedo, Easton was the handsome Prince Charming who had everybody swooning. The groom and his groomsmen wore matching navy blue tuxedos with dashing black silk lapels and neat black bow ties. As a thank you present, Easton gifted with groomsmen with charming baseball-themed mementos personalized with their name, the date, and their “position” on the team. So cute!
One modern wedding tradition that always makes us tear up is the First Look. Every time we get to watch a bride and groom see each other for the first time in their wedding clothes is pure magic, and Easton and Blair didn’t disappoint. Take a peek at these adorable photos of Easton waiting anxiously for his bride, Blair playfully sneaking up on him, and the moment they finally look at each other. It’s such a joy to see young love that is as exuberant and radiant theirs!
In the buttery afternoon sunshine, Blair and Easton held their ceremony on our elegant outdoor patio. One feature of our Wichita location that we adore is the garden full of tall, full-grown trees that serve as the prettiest backdrop for ceremonies and picture-perfect wedding photographs framed by our modern and angular metal arbor. The couple embellished the arbor with white silk draperies and bunches of purple and white flowers to match Blair’s bouquet. Beautiful!
After the idyllic ceremony, Blair and Easton threw all their energy into hosting a magical reception in the Main Hall. They decorated with some of NOAH’S signature lanterns: the perfect way to instantly create romantic tablescapes and a whimsical mood. They added framed photos, leafy floral arrangements, glass beads, and trendy chalkboard signage. Our favorite decoration was the pair’s custom star chart showing what the night sky looked like on the evening they kissed for the first time. Seriously, how romantic is that?
The couple’s cake was playful and flashy, with three tall layers and a glittery silver topper made out of silhouettes of Easton, Blair, and their two cute cats to add some eye-catching personalized flair! We love how each tier was iced in a different style and color: fluffy buttercream roses on the bottom, icy silver in the middle, and smooth white frosting on the top tier. Each layer was wrapped with a ribbon of silver rhinestones for a bit of bling, and the confection was polished off with a scattering of fresh pink rose petals.
The end of the evening was marked by one of the most epic sparkler send-offs we’ve ever had at NOAH’S! Blair and Easton’s guests created a pathway for the bride and groom using traditional glittery sparklers, but they turned up the volume with atmospheric smoke to add a moody, otherworldly haze to the moment. The perfect ending to a truly perfect wedding day at NOAH’S. Congratulations to this cute couple!
