A Clean Ivory Wedding at NOAH’S in Lindon, UT
On a sunny day in Utah County, Magy and Daniel joined the ranks of lovely couples who have tied the knot at NOAH’S Event Venue. This adorable pair chose a bright, refreshing palette of pristine ivory, accented with greenery and silver details for dimension.
Daniel dressed to the nines in a classic black tux, bowtie, and lacy white boutonniere, while Magy was the embodiment of bridal beauty in her tulle-layered A-line dress. Magy accessorized her gorgeous off-the-shoulder gown with simple diamond jewelry, a delicate headband over soft dark curls, and a flawless French manicure. The finishing touch was her show-stealing bouquet of white lilies and baby’s breath, set in the midst of long, spiky leaves of aspidistra to create an otherworldly look.
Given the gorgeous weather, Magy and Daniel opted for a celebration on the patio in the sunshine. Tables were set with fresh ivory linens and dainty arrangements of lilies, roses, and baby’s breath in antique glass vases. The bride and groom served chips and salsa plus soda pop to their guests at the reception, creating a laid-back, summery vibe as their loved ones snacked and mingled in the warm sunshine.
As the evening wore on, Magy and Daniel moved their guests indoors for traditional wedding activities like bouquet tossing, garter flinging, guestbook signing, and cake eating. We love the way the couple dressed up the main hall with simple white details: satin linens, gauzy white backdrops, and lush arrangements of frilly white flowers.
We have to admit that our favorite element of the reception was the disco ball! When it came to dancing, the bride and groom pulled out all the stops to make things extra groovy. The disco ball was the perfect way to get people out on the dance floor to twirl and sway the night away in the shining, spinning lights.
The cake was one of our favorite details from the reception. Four tall tiers of bright white-frosted chocolate cake were absolutely covered with a beautiful myriad of white, sage green, and navy blue flowers. Each layer was further decorated with a band of sparkling silver crystals. It was so cute to see Magy and Daniel cut into this confection and feed each other a sweet bite!
As the night wound to a close, Magy and Daniel finished the evening with one of our favorite wedding traditions: the Money Dance! In case you’re not familiar with the Money Dance, this fun wedding tradition comes from Poland but has been made popular all over the world! The idea is that wedding guests “pay” to for a dance with the bride or groom by pinning dollar bills to their clothes. Such a perfectly sweet way to spread the love and give the newlyweds a little starter home money at the same time!
We loved hanging out with this cool young couple and all their loved ones on their special day.
Congratulations to Daniel and Magy!
