A Stylish, Boho Wedding at NOAH’S in Des Moines, IA
Fashionable, fun-loving young couple Olivia and Lucas had a fabulous, upscale, boho wedding celebration at NOAH’S Event Venue of Des Moines on an idyllic, sunny afternoon in Iowa. The couple chose a cool, contemporary vibe with fresh florals at the center of their design scheme. Olivia and Lucas’s big day had an undeniably sophisticated and stylish color palette of navy, crimson, and gold.
Free and Fun Wedding Day Attire
The couple’s wedding ensembles matched the boho wedding theme: chic and incredibly stylish. Olivia wore a layered ivory gown with a strappy, beaded bodice, a graceful windswept up-do, and delicate powder pink heels. Additionally, her bouquet was nothing short of jaw-dropping; it overflowed with lush floribunda roses and long, romantic tendrils of olive and eucalyptus. Lucas’s boutonniere matched Olivia’s bouquet with a pristine white rose framed by olive and eucalyptus leaves, and it looked absolutely perfect against his dapper three-piece royal blue suit.
Bridesmaids and groomsmen wore luxurious jewel-toned gowns and suits, respectively. The bridesmaids — wearing gauzy carmine dresses — carried small bouquets of white and blood-red roses, fern fronds, olive branches, and eucalyptus. The flower girls were especially charming in flower crowns made of blooms that coordinated with the bridesmaids. Perfect down to the very last detail.
Boho Wedding Ceremony Decor at NOAH’S Event Venue of Des Moines
The ceremony was simple, clean, and positively swoon-worthy, set before a heart-stopping floating floral arbor in NOAH’S sunlight-filled ceremony room. The arbor, which hung conveniently from NOAH’S customizable ceiling, featured red, pink, coral, and white roses amidst a lush scrim of fresh green leaves. In perfect boho flair, it was also slightly asymmetrical, giving it a bit of unique charm. The perfect backdrop for the perfect wedding ceremony.
Boho Wedding Reception in the Main Hall at NOAH’S of Des Moines
After the I Do‘s, the wedding dinner and reception was full swing in NOAH’S grand Main Hall. The reception featured both banquet and round tables to accommodate every single guest. Lucas and Olivia went with low, moody Edison bulbs to give their reception celebration a warm, intimate atmosphere, enhanced by flickering tea candles set in floating candelabras and golden vases on satin pintuck linens. The table-scapes included whimsical lanterns, heaps of delicate olive leaves, and fragrant arrangements of roses and wildflowers. Overall, the effect was alluring, romantic, and charmingly boho for this wedding at NOAH’S Event Venue of Des Moines.
Other reception elements that we loved included the couple’s calligraphy signage, simple wooden accents, and heart-shaped Polaroid photo wall. Obviously, Lucas and Olivia chose each little detail with care, and it showed. From the incredible photo book for guests to sign down to the softly metallic linens, everything was refined, tasteful, and extra chic.
A Sweet Wedding Cake
Lastly, the pair’s simple-yet-impeccable wedding cake had us drooling. This cake had a corona of olive leaves and wildflowers, a cute golden “Always” topper, and gold leafing. Overall, the gorgeous confection perfectly blended with the clean, boho theme of the wedding ceremony and reception at NOAH’S of Des Moines.
This wedding was boho, romantic, and totally stylish, and we’re so glad that we got to be a part of it! Celebrating Lucas and Olivia’s fabulous love story at NOAH’S will go down in the history books.
Congrats to the newlyweds!
