A Tasteful Wedding Reception at NOAH’S in Blue Ash, OH
A lot of religious couples want to have their wedding ceremony at a church or other special house of worship. But what do you do after the ceremony, when you need a venue to host an elegant and memorable reception with drinking, dancing, and luxury galore? You come to NOAH’S Event Venue, of course!
Let’s take a look at Tyler and Lindsay’s wedding reception at NOAH’S for inspiration. This cute couple held a gorgeous ceremony at Saint Gabriel’s Catholic Church, but they needed a more secular venue to throw their afterparty. They knew they wanted somewhere with open, airy event space; a clean, neutral color palette that they could personalize with their own decor; modern architecture with classical accents; and a rockin’ dance floor! By offering everything they dreamed of and more, NOAH’S became the perfect backdrop to Lindsay and Tyler’s chic, amorous, and perfectly tasteful autumn wedding reception.
Beautiful Lindsay wore a romantic gown with dainty straps, daring lacy cutouts, and a drop-dead-gorgeous train that swished and fluttered as she walked. She paired loose, flowing curls with a long, dramatic veil and a dark, dreamy lash line. Dressed in modish taupe, her bridesmaids carried bouquets of white roses, baby’s breath, and eucalyptus to match Lindsay’s own striking flowers.
Tyler’s look was classical black-and-white. In a sharp black three-piece suit, crisp white shirt, and gleaming black brogues, this groom was set to play the part of Prince Charming. He accessorized with a stunning white boutonniere and a unique black-on-black watch. His groomsmen were happy to dress up in coordinating suits and boutonnieres, looking as sleek and handsome as ever.
We have to show off some of Lindsay and Tyler’s gorgeous choices when it came to stationary and typography. In cool, neutral tones, this couple sent off invitations that set the tasteful theme of their reception with geometric gold designs, classic serif fonts, and lovely illustrations of olive branches.
Reception details were tasteful, polished, sophisticated, and utterly chic. The color palette was all creamy neutrals and dusky golds, accented with stylish glass pieces to give the reception a modern edge. Lindsay and Tyler used our signature lantern decorations framed with fragrant herbs and flickering tea candles to create handsome centerpieces on some of the tables; other tables received overflowing bouquets of white roses, hydrangeas, and eucalyptus suspended in tall glass vases. Linens were white, black, and champagne, offset with mirrored silver and gold signage. Tyler and Lindsay chose our fabulous spoke chandelier ceiling package, which never fails to stun and delight guests at any wedding ceremony or reception.
The cake was three layers of bright white icing, soft branches of olive, and a cascade of delicate white roses, all settled atop a gorgeous silver cake stand with whimsical, curly feet. We also loved the adorable champagne glasses set aside for Lindsay and Tyler. Each glass wore a silly little outfit: a tux for the groom and a tulle veil for the bride. So cute!
We had such a beautiful evening dancing and laughing with Lindsay and Tyler. One of the best parts of the job is seeing the bright, effervescent joy on the bride and groom’s faces when they get to share their first dance as husband and wife, and this charming couple didn’t disappoint. Congrats to the newlyweds!
