Alexis and Alex’s Classic Floral Ceremony
Alex and Alexis (yes, their names are adorably similar) filled NOAH’S outdoor patio with greenery, lush flowers, and artisan vases. Because of their long guest list, this couple needed a venue with enough space for all their loved ones! Luckily, NOAH’S was plenty big for their outdoor ceremony and glamorous indoor reception.

Unplugged for Wes and Carrie’s Ceremony Room “I Dos”
The classic wood beam ceiling in NOAH’S Ceremony Room lent to a warm and intimate ceremony for Wes and Carrie. By asking all their guests to turn off phones and cameras (they hired a photographer, after all!), this couple was able to keep their loved ones present and in the moment. After the ceremony, guests retired to the Main Hall to celebrate a reception under NOAH’S spoke ceiling and sparkling lights.

Lucas and Olivia’s Sunny Main Hall Ceremony
One of our favorite architectural designs in NOAH’S of Des Moines, Iowa is the floor to ceiling windows. These big and splendid windows let in a lot of natural light, perfect for a bright wedding ceremony and dazzling pictures. Plus, this couple’s asymmetrical floral arch worked for both their ceremony and reception. Of course, NOAH’S flipped the room for them, setting up the tables after the ceremony was finished.

Rob and Lisa’s Creamsicle Outdoor Ceremony
Soft pastels in orange and cream accented Rob and Lisa’s breezy outdoor nuptials. With fantastical lanterns lining the aisle and an adorable wedding procession, this Des Moines wedding ceremony was a must-see. The best part? Guests were able to step inside to enjoy a luscious gold and navy reception without ever leaving NOAH’S Event Venue!

In sum, if you’re wondering how to choose a wedding venue, one of the most important questions to ask is whether or not the venue can complement your wedding vision. Gaudy decor and ornate embellishments make it difficult for you and your partner’s style to come together in one place. Find a venue like NOAH’S that is versatile, elegant, and customizable. It also doesn’t hurt that having both your wedding ceremony and reception in the same venue makes your big day so easy! After all, no one wants to find the perfect ceremony space only to take down everything and move to another venue for the reception. Visit NOAHSEventVenue.com to find the closest NOAH’S near you!
