Utah County Reception Spotlight: Malon & Marilyn
With equal parts elegance and fun, Malon and Marilyn hosted the kind of reception that we here at NOAH’S Event Venue can never forget! We loved this Utah County reception so much, we decided to gather all the elements that made it special right here on our blog. Undoubtedly, these ideas will spark some serious reception inspo for your upcoming wedding!
We loved Marilyn and Malon’s sweetheart table. The custom pumpkin accent paid homage to their fall wedding, and the white linens were clean, bright, and sophisticated.
The couple selected NOAH’S specialty linens in navy to add texture and contrast to their burgundy and white decor accents. Stunning!
Marilyn and Malon opted for an open-air photo booth, so guests got to be quirky and fun without the tight quarters! Open-air photo booths are very popular nationwide, and especially for Utah County receptions.
Dancing played a huge role in this Utah County Reception! First, there was a beautiful, touching first dance between Malon and Marilyn. Second, the guests joined in for an uproariously good time. And finally, the couple finished the night with a “money dance” where guests pinned bills to their clothes. So fun! …and profitable!
A naked cake with a splash of white buttercream and burgundy floral accents—what’s not to love?!
From the guestbook to the favors, the details of this wedding were rustic, charming, and unique. Plus, the couple used their name to spark such a cute idea! Malon & Marilyn. M&M. CUTE.
Is there a better way to end this fantastic Utah County reception than with a bold and fun sparkler send-off? We certainly can’t think of one!
We loved how simple this wedding was, and yet it left a lasting impression. After all, that’s our goal: to help couples create a memorable experience of their most important day.
